Ithaca, N.Y., 2014, Rembrandt 3D Corp ( www.rembrandt3d.com) announced today that its MaestroTM 3DTV, No Glasses Auto Stereoscopic 3D (AS3D) platform, has been chosen by Emmy Award winner Kenneth Love of Kenneth Love International LLC, to produce “FALLINGWATER IN 3D”.

The 3D pilot, designed as a ‘proof of concept’ piece will be on display at Fallingwater later this spring. Mr. Love stated, “ The Rembrandt 3D MaestroTM TV and their conversion method, captures the spatial power of Mr. Wright’s design and presents the viewer with a “true to life” image realism, geospatially accurate and without artifacts. Mr. Wright said that only 3D photography could do justice to his architecture, and Rembrandt 3D achieves that.”

Lynda Waggoner, Fallingwater’s Director and Vice President of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy commented, “ Ken Love’s 3D Pilot exceeded all expectations. The presentation on the 42” Rembrandt 3DTV, glasses‐free LCD monitor really impressed us with its depth image quality and its adherence to Wright’s vision of architecture as a 3D visual experience.”

She went on to say, “ We are delighted with Love’s artistic treatment of Fallingwater, and we are exploring a number of possible applications for the Rembrandt AS3D technology at our site, including a glasses‐free video tour specially produced for the handicapped.”

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater and 9 other Wright buildings are in the process of being considered for the inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List of world renown and culturally significant landmarks. These include the Taj Mahal and the Pyramids of Giza. Waggoner speculated that this 3D technology would be a wonderful way to share these sites with an international audience.

Rembrandt 3D’s CEO Steve Blumenthal said, “ We are honored to have been selected to display Frank Lloyd Wright’s work on our MaestroTM auto stereoscopic 3D , glasses‐free screen. We hope to bring the magic of its timeless beauty to a wider audience through the richness of our AS3D television system. Being a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, I’d like to think that our 3DTV would have warmed his heart.”
